Pinion has extensively worked in designing strategies and managing business critical keys used in card processing.

Pinion’s consultants have designed processes and procedures to handle keys from MasterCard, Visa and Local switches. These processes create a mechanism which will not allow anyone to know the clear keys throughout the card processing life cycle.

Pinion can support processing of Issuer and Acquirer related keys for both magnetic stripe and Chip based cards. The processes and software designed by Pinion supports key change to third parties with basic guidance. These processes can handle CVK, CVK2, PVK, IWK, AWK, ZPK, ZCMK and Chip Card keys - IMKac, IMKsmi, IMKsmc, IMKdac. Pinion Services has also designed and developed software to perform automatic periodic key exchange protocols.
